Basic System

Basic home cinema systems consist of an AV amplifier, source component and five speakers – a centre channel, left and right main speakers and left and right surround speakers for the rear together with a sub-woofer. Playback

Blu-Ray images have a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. These are much higher than the 720 x 480 pixels available from DVD and they bring the experience much closer to that found in the cinema.
