Pros of Playing Online Pai Gow

Pai Gow is a lot easier than it looks. However, many players make the mistake of approaching it as if it were a regular game of online poker, that their first mistake as it could cost you in the long run. Online Casinos are a better option than land-based casinos when playing Pai Gow. Here are the reasons why:

  • You get to play for as little as $5 per hand at online casinos, whereas many based casinos require a minimum bet of $25.
  • When playing online, players never have to wait for a table.
  • You get to play for free before placing any real money wagers allowing you to feel for the game in your own time.

Learning to Play Pai Gow Like a Pro

Place your bets, and you and the dealer receive seven cards, yours face up and the dealer’s face down. The goal is to split the cards into one hand of five and another hand of two, with the five-card hand ranking higher than the two cards. Once you have decided how to split the cards, the dealer will reveal their cards.

Should both your hands be better than the dealers, you win. If one hand is high and the other low, the hand is a push, and you receive your bet back. The sad news is all tied hands are a win for the dealer. Flip some cards as you beat the dealer in Pai Gow.
