The McCain campaign sent out a press release this morning, announcing a schedule change: ARLINGTON, VA -- U.S. Senator John McCain's presidential campaign today announced that the McCain family's appearance at the Twin Cities Habitat For Humanity build site on Thursday, September 4, 2008 has been canceled. My partner in vlog, Ana Marie Cox, made quick note of the change, twittering : How anti-press...

Also, see the "flip" for another excellent explanation. Maybe Ghoul-iani, Palin, McSame et al. should check these out before they slander community organizers again. Oh wait, I forgot; for Republicans, FACTS DON'T MATTER.

Meet my friend Nerdette. Oh, and Governor Palin…Heart called. They want their song back. And step away from the Detroit Red Wings sweater. I mean it. I have no doubt that we'll be hearing that same speech over and over for 60 days....

The pushback against Sarah Palin's dig at community organizers seems to have legs; we look at how one email went from Wasilla, Alaska, out to the world at breathtaking speed; some conservatives find themselves having a tough time making the most of Digg; post-convention online buzz favors Obama over McCain, Palin over Biden; and a great deal more.

Guess what — people who are trained to organize political action might just be able to hit back if you take ‘em on. In the few hours since Republican V.P nominee Sarah Palin made fun of Barack Obama’s community organizer background at her speech at the RNC, the Obama campaign has already sent out [...]

Click To Play it was august 29th, the day after an inspiring speech by barack obama at the DNC. mccain announces palin as his running mate. as the hype for palin started reaching a fever pitch, i started feeling, pretty much what the repubs wanted me to feel- apathetic, hopeless and helpless. this is what i decided to do... i have been inspired by the following independent media (too much to list but...):...
