Seems like exoskeletons are finally about to make the transition from Sci-Fi to reality - the video clip above shows how one such device has enabled a quadriplegic man to walk for the first time in 20 years. For individuals who have been paralysed from the waist down, the ability to stand up and walk again would be a dream come true. Technology is progressing at such a pace, however, that it has now become possible to create hardware that may allow walking with paralysed legs to occur.
