Can You Tell Me How To Get.....

It clearly is a good year to turn 40. Not only yours truly but total is the turn of PBS educational staple from the Children's Television Workshop. Just hope Cookie Monster doesn't eat all our online cookies to mark the day. Anyway Happy Birthday Sesame Street and by way of celebration how about a classic 1970's opening title. My nickname in one of the civil service jobs I did was after this guy. Can't...

Happy 40th Sesame Street

I can't believe I'm the same age as Sesame Street . The opening above is the one I remember from my childhood. Only now can you see how radical it was -- the multi-cultural blending, the children running from deserts, farms and what appears to be ghettos to get to Sesame Street . It was always a haven for me. It taught me so much. Happy Birthday, Sesame Street !
