Scare and smear are all that Labour has left

Before the funeral for the late Cllr. Suzanne Moseley in Moreton, Labour was campaigning in her ward. Leave aside, for a moment, any feelings of unease or disgust you may have at this. The newsletter, with Angela Eagle all over it, talks about alleged ‘threats’ to Sure Start. It reminds me of claims, just before the [...]

Is she a future MP?

Angela Eagle’s expenses claims

Last month, I published an advert in one of the local papers, listing several of the claims made by Wallasey’s MP, Angela Eagle. These included £1,180 for a new bed, up to £250 a month for food and an amount of £757.78 which I misinterpreted for cleaning. It was, in fact for the service charge/maintenance on one of her homes. The [...]
