THE Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers has expressed concern over Dairy UK's leadership change. Appointing Dairy Crest chief executive, Mark Allen as chairman to succeed David Curry MP could bring to an end this all industry organisation, it says.

THE NFU has withdrawn from Dairy UK over the replacement of David Curry as independent chairman. Farmers' leaders say opting to appoint a processor as opposed to an independent chairman, means the organisation has given up on the idea of being a voice for the whole dairy industr y.
