Well, in my absence it has all been going on, hasn’t it? Foremost mention should go to the 75th anniversary of the Gresford Colliery disaster . On Friday the 2nd of September 1934, 266 working men perished in an avoidable mining disaster in the Dennis pit, at Gresford colliery in Wrexham. Many of the men were buried alive, where they remain to this day. Friday 22nd September would have been...

The local council decided not to prosecute. The Llay Fish Bar , thought to be the source of an E. coli O157 outbreak that sickened four including a new mother left in a coma, will be prosecuted by the Wrexham Council. It’s like television...

[BBC News: Council looks at play space plan ] I can hear some of you already: 'It wasn't like that in my day!'...

It is disingenuous for Ian Lucas to associate...
