Friday 13th turned out pretty lucky for me as I took the opportunity for a quick look round Bosherston before the next deluge hits. A walk from the 8 Arch Bridge up to the Grassy Bridge produced a pair of Goosander but little else of note. Barafundle Bay, which is under the care of the National Trust and listed as part of the Stackpole Estate, has one of the most beautiful beaches in Britain. It is my favourite beach in Wales. The golden sands and dunes can be accessed by the Pembrokeshire Coastal path and it is not easily reached. Thankfully we arrived home this afternoon. Here are some pictures of our time in Pembrokeshire . Yesterday was a bit wet but we filled the time with playing 'Game of Life' in the morning. Then the small boys and I went to the pool while the bigs did some maths. The pool was great fun, not least because there was no life-guard! Sorry not to update you recently but we’ve been on holiday in Manorbier. With the postal strikes, it’s a bit of a disincentive to attempt post-cards so I hope this message will suffice. Paul G has had 6 Black Redstarts this morning in Dale - I wonder just how many are in Pembrokeshire at this moment? Steve Hinton had 3 Black Redstarts in Dale yesterday. Also 2 Chichaffs in Dale with a Goldcrest, and another Chiffchaff and Goldcrest at Dale Fort.

Damien Ankrah, 28, placed the drugs in condoms and swallowed them to avoid detection, Swansea Crown Court heard. The judge heard that after police in Pembrokeshire arrested him during a drugs operation, he refused to eat for days to avoid going to the toilet....
