Wind farm plans rejected

Two applications for windfarms have been rejected today at Nantglyn by Denbighshire Council's planning committee. One was for 16 100 metre high wind turbines to the east of Llyn Brenig , and the other a separate application for 13 125 metre high turbines at Gorsedd Bran . Both applications were on land designated by the Welsh Assembly Government as sites suitable for windfarms.
