The Great British Cheese Festival at Cardiff Castle was a huge success this year with thousands attending to sample the cheeses and of course the real ales and ciders available at the Cardiff Arms bar, run by CAMRA. There's simply no point trying to put a positive spin or a brave face on about last night's results. They were truly dreadful for Labour as a Party and, I would contend, for Wales as a country. However you jiggle the figures, the Tories beat us in the popular vote here in Wales, with UKIP polling strongly as well.
