Labour Thrashed into Third Place in Cardiff

The new composition of Cardiff Council has been announced on the official website as: Lib Dems 34 Conservatives 15 Labour 13 Plaid Cymru 7 Independents 3 (Heath result is yet to be announced) Conservative gains include an impressive gain in Rumney, Radyr, the second seat in Pontprennau and the fourth seat in Whitchurch and Tongwynlais.
