Over the course of yesterday we were able to contact about 30 out of the 59 Scottish MPs to find out what Sir Thomas Legg had asked of them and to gauge their response. The list is reproduced below but bear in mind this is only about half of the Scottish cohort and that one or two were not willing to discuss details until they had responded to Sir Thomas. Danny Alexander, LD, Inverness, Nairn, Badenoch...

The newspaper web sites have all covered the story about the high rate of alcohol related deaths in Scotland, but none gave a link to the full statistics (which are found on the Scottish Parliament site) , let alone republishing them. This site goes one better, and publishes them by parliamentary constituency as a league table. (OK, not exactly a table, since I don't know HTML!) Alcohol-related deaths...

Been working for 1 year already (started on 23/7/2008), and still counting. Although the company I’m working with is not very big ,approx 40-50 employees, I think can be classified as medium size company. I am very pleased that I involved in numerous of projects. Ranging from small scale 18 tridents to 474 Towers, from 33kV to 400kV, from Scotland to Hong Kong, from projects budget of 20 grand...

The lampost & the cloud , originally uploaded by Headphonaught . I've become a bit obsessed with looking up. If you follow my pics on Flickr I like to capture skylines... preferably with big chunks of sky. Tonight... as I was in Bellshill... I noticed the design detail of the street lamps on the main street. They have an interesting style... unusual... different from "standard" street...
