Not much to look at really, but here are two on-set photos from the new Resident Evil movie "Afterlife" currently shooting in Toronto. The first image shows Wentworth Miller as Chris Redfield , Milla Jovovich as Alice and Ali Larter as Claire Redfield (who looks hotter than Milla sporting that long red hair) with the second showing they're on what looks like a ship with a bunch of non zombies...

You read the diary, you've seen the play and the movie. You toured the exhibit at the Holocaust Museum. You're pretty well Anne Frankified. Surely you don't need to read a new book about her or reread the diary.

Filed under: Other Reality Shows , Other Sci-Fi/Supernatural Shows The Ghost Hunters name is starting to rival CSI and Law & Order in the spinoff department. What else do all three of these franchises share? There's just as much hard paranormal evidence in the last two as appears in the first. Please don't misunderstand me -- since I've gone off on this topic before. I'm not saying ghosts don't...

The thinking of hopeful things is not always easy. You get caught up in mundane garbage, stuff about bills or an expanding waistline, harsh weather or politics... the sadness of an old woman you saw begging on the off-ramp. Hopefulness is pushed aside. There we look to ourselves to make an excuse, or to define tomorrow, as if we actually have answers to what makes life so very good, or in some cases,...

It's easy to keep using The Empire Strikes Back as a reference point for Mass Effect 2 . They're both second acts in sci-fi trilogies, and they both adopt a darker tone compared to their predecessors. But during a brief hands-on demonstration, there's one other pop-culture reference that can describe the general atmosphere of Mass Effect 2: that Westwood College Online commercial where the two fellows...

In the production Miss Witherspoon, Miami University students painted a picture of the afterlife that is both dramatic and humorous. Put on by Alpha Psi Omega and USITT (United States Institute of Theatre Technology), Miss Witherspoon was an enchanting story of a woman who had no desire to return to middle-earth.

I hope that if there is an afterlife, it’s the one where we get reunited with the people we love who passed away before us. That’s the kind of afterlife I like to believe anyway. Troy’s grandma passed away this afternoon. She’d been missing her husband a lot ever since he passed away last year. I hope they’re having a lovely reunion.

I've always been of a split mind about Catholics. On the one hand, the Catholic religion is really quite odd by Christian standards, with its saints, idols, the Holy Trinity, and so forth – it's really got a lot of hints of polytheism and paganism in it compared to most Christian religions. On the other hand, I really admire the Catholic chutzpah . Unlike most Christian denominations, they frankly...
