This summer, as in most years since the eclipse in 1999, our family have spent a week camping in Devon on a biodynamic farm overlooking Totnes and the River Dart. There is something for all ages including the many children and teenagers. For details see http://www.sharphamfamilycamp.co.uk/ The vision of an annual community of friends old and new, started by the farmer Richard who...

We've recently returned from a beautiful week spent in sunny Devon. Hubby and I took our youngest daughter and her best buddy for a relaxing break in this charming little Victorian cottage in Kingsweir. We had this stunning view from our bedroom window over the river Dart, with Dartmoor quay in the distance....yes, I could get used to waking up to that view every day..... 4.10.08 Caught ferry to Dartmouth down the River Dart very scenic and peaceful. The commentator spoke near the entire time and I was interested that everyone was fascinated with near every bird and creature. Perhaps the downside of a long history if there is one is less wild lands. Busked more in Darthmouth. 4.11.08Stayed at the YHA in a beautiful coastal town called Salcomb. Classic town with
