The improved rail service between Bristol Temple Meads and Avonmouth has unfortunately led to a reduced service to Severn Beach. The previous level of service was unreliable, but the new schedule, with two hour gaps at times, simply is impractical. Despite Severn Beach being just outside a congested city, we are being denied an alternative form of transport due to the lack of a regular reliable

The traffic around Bristol has gone mad again this evening. Here are the low lights: M5 - stationary traffic between Jn 16 and 17 southbound (Aztec West to Cribbs Causeway) M5 - lane closed at Jn 18 southbound (Avonmouth) M32 - congestion northbound, heading out of town. The A4 between Bristol and Bath, meanwhile, seems to have taken the brunt of the traffic off the M5 and is at a near standstill....
