Terras were held 1-1 by lowly Woking at the Wessex Stadium last night. The home side scored first through James Coutts, but the Surrey outfit hit back within 2 minutes to complete the scoring. The final 30 minutes were frustrating for both sides as neither could find the breakthrough. read more

I'm indebted to the Surrey Herald for publishing a disturbing story about Woking Council's chief executive Ray Morgan (the man that brought us the white elephant canopy outside the station). Apparently he wants to use "some" of the beautiful and tranquil Woking Park to build a new 3-storey sixth-form college! He "appreciates that there may be some emotional reaction" to such a decision but feels that...

Despite a late equaliser for Woking on Tuesday night the general consensus was that it was another point gained in Surrey for the Terras. JHMBE calls himself the "Points Collector" (and we are likely to have a t-shirt coming soon on that theme!!) and another one away from home will do nicely. Stuart Beavon is starting to score goals on a more regular basis and is certainly benefiting from not being...

Quite unbelievable that a hotel refused a member of the armed forces in Woking Surrey on account of their 'no military personnel' policy, but at least they did the decent thing and apologised (no comfort to the soldiers forced to spend the night in his car). Last year - for some reason Surrey again - there was a major planning spat in Mole Valley when residents objected to the building of a soldiers'...
