Oil in the Valley

A few months ago it was brought to my attention that there’s oil in the ground under Oxted in Surrey. Maybe not for long, because it is being mined. I wonder what effect this mining is having on our groundwater? Another aspect to the story is that Mo Fayed has claimed some of the proceeds as they are extracting about 9% of the oil from under his land. This week I am travelling to Sweden and Denmark....
