Family Photography Shoot in Esher, Surrey

I had a really fun shoot with this gorgeous brother and sister. We started the shoot at their home where I photographed the two of them upstairs; we played peekaboo and jumped around pretending to be various different animals. The big sister did the best horse impression I think I've ever heard!! Luckily they both warmed to me quickly and seemed to love the camera which made my life nice and easy!...

Baby & Toddler Photography in Kingston Upon Thames, Surrey

I had the pleasure of meeting Shelley and her two lovely boys this morning after I was recommended by two of her NCT friends who I have photographed previously. Her eldest Matthew is 21 months and her baby is 3 months old....so she certainly has her hands full! Matthew was very lively and I had to chase him round the garden kicking balls most of the time! We managed to get this lovely soulful look...

Family Photography in East Sussex

I got an email from Clare and Simon a few months ago saying that they wanted to buy some gift vouchers for their Mum for her 60th birthday. Obviously I'm always pleased when I get a new client but I was even more pleased than normal because I went to school with them both and their parents are very good friends with my parents and even came to my wedding! It's always a real treat to photograph people...

Oyster PAYG on Victoria - Balham Services From Tomorrow

From Sunday, travellers will be able to use Oyster PAYG on Southern services from Balham, Wandsworth Common, Clapham Junction and Battersea Park to London Victoria. Confirmation of this can be found on the Southern website here . Sadiq Khan also makes mention of it in his latest email to Tooting constituents, which makes interesting reading. To steal a phrase from Railway Eye , "Sadiq says":...

Outraged Balham residents scramble for the truth

Today, Boris Johnson launched Oxford Street’s new ‘scramble crossing’ by banging a giant gong. The diagonal pedestrian crossing has been heralded by many of the news outlets as a copy of the famous walkway in Shibuya, Tokyo. The Metro even went as far as naming it, slightly ambiguously, as a ‘ first ’. Luckily in almost all the comments under the stories, the general public...

Recession kills off regeneration plans for Roehampton

The recession has finally put paid to hopes for a major regeneration project in Roehampton. The scheme had been in development for a number of years and went through seemingly endless consultations with local residents, mixed feelings from the Labour Party (who couldn’t work out if they want to improve people’s quality of life or not) [...] Theoretically related posts: Beating the recession...

Family Photography in Twickenham

I had another lovely autumnal shoot on Saturday morning with these gorgeous brothers above and their mum and dad. I was greeted at the door by their eldest, who said to me with a big smile on his face 'I hear you take photos. I bet I have a better camera than you and I can take better photos too.' So it seemed I had competition! I think I earned his respect though when I showed him that I in fact had...

We Love Wandsworth

Last night I represented Wandsworth at an event at New London Architecture called ‘Our Patch’. The boroughs attending were each given a short slot to promote themselves to the audience and I, of course, was unremittingly positive about what Wandsworth had to offer. Prior to this I’d posed the question on Twitter “what attracted/attracts you [...] Theoretically related posts:...

Newborn Photography in New Malden, Surrey

I had a shoot this morning with this gorgeous little lady who is the grand old age of 14 days old! We actually had the session planned in for next week but as Amelia decided to enter the world a bit early we needed to bring the shoot forward so we could catch up while she's still little. And little she is....still weighing not much over 5lbs....so tiny and cute! Amelia wasn't too keen on participating...

Wedding Photography in Leatherhead, Surrey

I was the photographer at Emma & Robert's wedding in Leatherhead at the beginning of September. It was a lovely day and there was lots of great emotion throughout the day for me to capture. Anyway, I'll shut up and let the pictures do the talking instead! Doesn't Emma just look stunning? Thanks to Emma & Rob for choosing me to photograph your special day. I glad you loved the images so much...

My little boy in the woods in Esher

What fantastic weather we've had this weekend, I'm so pleased we're having a bit of an indian summer! I bought a big frame ages ago in anticipation of my little boy walking, but then since he started walking a few months ago I just haven't had the time to take a photo of him to put in it! Well, I finally got round to it today.....it was such a gorgeous day that Karl and I decided to go to the woods...

Baby Photography in Surbiton. Surrey

I had a shoot on Saturday with this delightful 7 month old girl on Saturday and her lovely parents. Izzy was such a happy little thing and just laughed and giggled her way through the session! We started the session at their house where I got some photos of the family in their formal clothes for a festival they were attending the next day. Izzy and I then got to know each other with me chasing her...

Wedding Photography in Oxted, Surrey

I had the pleasure of being the photographer at Monique and James' wedding on 29th August in Oxted. The wedding was held in Monique's sister's beautiful garden which made a wonderful setting for the ceremony and reception. This was one of the first full weddings I have been the sole photographer at and I really enjoyed it and am delighted with the images. I think my natural style works well for reportage,...
