It was with great sadness that I heard last night of the untimely death of Lord Garden, who died on August 9th at the age of 63. Tim Garden was diagnosed with incurable cancer a few weeks before his death. Only a few months ago Tim came to speak to Chipping Barnet Liberal Democrats about foreign and defence policy.
