We woke up really late this morning so I knew that we probably weren't going to see as much as I wanted to.First we went to Framlingham Castle. That was a really cool castle to visit. When you first enter the castle grounds you see a few different lawn games you can play. There was even lawn chess. If we had more time and if it wasn't raining I would have wanted to try it out. A MOBILE breast cancer screening service, which faced an uncertain future, has been saved after a public appeal to find it a new home. The East Suffolk Breast Cancer Screening Service provides mammograms to detect early stage cancer to 500 women annually in Framlingham and faced loosing its base in the town because of an increased need for visitor parking at Framlingham Castle.

THE Russians are coming - along with the Czechs, the Bulgarians and the Romanians. Suffolk is set to be invaded by the former Soviet bloc and the hammer and sickle flag will soon be seen flying in the middle of one of our market towns.

A WORKER injured his leg when he jumped from his digger as the machine slipped down a hole on a building site. Paramedics from the East of England Ambulance Service were called to New Road, Framlingham, around 11.30am.

POLICE have this morning named a motorcyclist who died at the weekend following an accident on a Suffolk road. Angus Lewis, 20, from Shotley, was killed on Saturday on the A1120 at Badingham, near Framlingham.

SUFFOLK'S roads have claimed their sixth victim this year following the death of a motorcyclist on Saturday. A 20-year-old biker died after a three-vehicle accident on the A1120 High Road at Badingham, near Framlingham.
