The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has reminded employers of their legal duty to properly manage workplace risks. The warning follows HSE's prosecution of a printing company in Suffolk following several breaches of health and safety laws. Clays Ltd of Bungay was fined £32,000 and ordered to pay costs of £12,000 at Lowestoft Magistrates' Court yesterday (Monday 30th June).

A WOMAN has been killed by stampeding cattle as she walked her dogs along a Suffolk footpath. Health and safety officials are now making inquiries into the death, which happened on Sunday afternoon at South Elmham Hall, near Bungay.

AN elderly cyclist who went missing from his Suffolk home has been found. Bungay man John Christopher, 73, was reported missing in the Ditchingham area at 3pm yesterday and was discovered in Earsham this morning.

Police called after cars hit cow

EMERGENCY services are currently dealing with an accident where a car has been in collision with a cow. Suffolk police were called at around 8pm to the incident, which happened on Flixton Road, Bungay, close to Point View Farm.
