Norfolk Nomads pitch-up and play

Due to the unfortunate cancellation of both fixtures to be held at our North Pickenham Road ground, it was decided to hold a 'pitch-up and play' session this afternoon. This resulted in 20 girls arriving from Wymondham, Holt, Norwich, Ely and Swaffham with many more unable to attend due to the lateness of the change of plans. Basford v Wymondham U15's 14/09/08

Three Swaffham girls were invited to play in a Wymondham/Norfolk Nomads fixture against Basford arranged by Wymondham Rugby club. There were also girls from Ely and Holt who were playing together for the first time this season. The three from Swaffham were Shelby, Chloe B and Katie, all of whom gave a good account of themselves whilst on the pitch but unfortunately Katie had to come off at half-time...

Summer rugby course

Swaffham RFC are hosting a very popular and well-regarded Leicester Tigers coaching course in August, and are offering other clubs the opportunity to take part.
