Playing Bach to calm the bark

STAFF at an Essex animal sanctuary are to play classical music to noisy dogs to help calm them down after nearby residents complained to the council. Environmental officers from Tendring District Council (TDC) are working closely with management and volunteers at Clacton Animal Aid, in Little Clacton, after reports of excessive barking were made by people living in bungalows nearby.

POLICE are hoping to speak to two motorists who witnessed a fatal crash in Essex. Motorcyclist Lawrence Jupp died after an accident on Monday December 10 on Heath Road, Tendring about 9am.

A MOTORCYCLIST has died after colliding with a car transporter in an Essex village. The accident happened in Heath Road, Tendring, at 9.07am today.(Monday) Police, firefighters and ambulance crews were called to the accident and worked to free the rider who was trapped underneath the car transporter.
