President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali received on Thursday Mr Mondher Zenaidi, Minister of Public Health who briefed him on the activities of the health sector. The meeting also focused on the ways of improving the sector's efficiency.

President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali met on Tuesday with Mr Moncer Rouissi, the Chairman of the Higher Committee for Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms. During the meeting, the Head of State focused on the activities of the Committee within the framework of the enforcement of the law issued in June 2008, destined at reinforcing the Committee's role and broadening its prerogatives.
