As I noted before there were still some Federal Races left in 08. Because of the two hurricanes Louisiana had elections were delayed. Now we are in the General. On a practical note this is the first time Louisiana has had "Closed" primary election for Congressional Offices in some times. The Hurricanes were not a blessing that is for sure but it has given opponents of William Jefferson...
