New A's outfielder Holliday not worried about post-Coors drop-off

A's general manager Beane, speaking publicly about the deal for the first time, said that the A's wanted to upgrade the offense, particularly because some of the team's promising young starters (Brett Anderson, Trevor Cahill, Vince Mazzaro) will be with the big-league club in the near future. The team didn't want such valued prospects having to operate with tiny margins for error.
