Tom Gabel of Against Me! will be releasing a clear vinyl single 7-inch, Anna is a Stool Pigeon . The record is due out via Sabot Productions and follows Tom's solo full length, Heart Burns . The 7" has two b-sides, an acoustic version of "Random Hearts" and the non-album track "I Cant See You, But I Know You're There." You can buy a copy here .

Naples, FL's Tom Gabel has posted a performance of the song "Anna is a Stool Pigeon" from his solo EP Heart Burns . The video was recorded by Jake Maymudes on October 26th, 2008 in Sacremento, CA at the Nimbus Dam. Gabel's band, Against Me! , was recently in a bus accident and Gabel himself recently weighed in on the situation as well as discussed his new EP.

Tom Gabel of Against Me! has unveiled the fourth in a series of videos to coincide with tracks on his upcoming solo EP. The record is titled Heart Burns and is due out October 28, 2008 . The videos represent tracks on the EP, but will feature live performances of those album tracks. The video was shot by Jason Thrasher on August 26th, 2008 in Los Angeles ,CA.

Still stoked about the election but tired of blasting "The Rising" or that stupid will.i.am song? Look no further than Heart Burns, a seven song EP released last month by Against Me! frontman Tom Gabel. Even without his band, Gabel delivers an excellent set of protest songs that hearken back to his anarchist/folk roots and manage to be both politically and personally affecting.
