Testifying Monday in the capital murder trial of Michael Addison, Det. Richard Brennan said it is unclear from the evidence where Briggs stood the night he was shot. Prosecutors questioned the location of the shell casing from the fatal bullet because it could have been disturbed in the confusion following the shooting.
