Glenrothes: this week's other election

It lacks the glamour, and let's face it the global importance, of the US election. But don't let that put you off the struggle being waged in that most curious of corners of Fife (in general the strangest part of Scotland, and I can say that coming from Paisley). These things can hang on a handful of votes. Several points to remember about the possible outcomes on Thursday: 1) If Labour wins, no matter...

I helped marshal for the first few races and then warmed up by running around the course. It looked and felt very wet. Kilbarchan had four teams and I was running third leg after Donald Kennedy and Andrew Clugston. Our team didn't have a fourth runner....

Cycling, Kilbarchan and news of an interview
