Former Tour de France Lanterne Rouge (3 stages in 2005) and climber-with-something-extra Leonardo Piepoli has publicly confessed to doping with CERA in the 2008 Tour . So the guys at the bottom of the standings are no more resistant to the allure of doping than the guys at the front. Can we move on now?

Italian rider Leonardo Piepoli faces a two-year ban after testing positive for the latest generation erythropoietin (EPO) product CERA, the Italian Olympic Committee (CONI) said.
