From our original Macworld 2009 rumor roundup, here’s the rundown on how all the rumors panned out. Came True: iLife and iWork [...]

Like many other Mac users, we were slightly disappointed with the recent Apple Keynote presentation. We were expecting new Mac hardware, such as an upgraded Mac Mini which we use a central audio distribution system. However, Apple did announce upgrades...

I have to say that it wasn't as excited as people had anticipated. There was no iPhone Nano, no Mac Mini. The features added to iPhoto was pretty cool though. It attempts at facial recognition, using GPS data embedded within pictures (JPG). Besides this there were several other announcements made but again nothing as exiciting to mention here. The full keynote releases can be found here Just one more...

Maybe Phil Schiller didn't introduce a new Mac mini, or the mythical iPhone nano, but for my money the most important announcement of the keynote came shoved in the last ten minutes or so of Tuesdasy's presentation: the news that Apple had struck a deal with the other three major labels to finally offer--eventually--iTunes's entire song catalog without Digital Rights Management. It's the culmination...

Are you suffering from withdrawal after Apple's less-than-exciting keynote address at the MacWorld Expo yesterday? Apple VP Phil Schiller may not have introduced a shiny new Mac Mini or iMac, but that hasn't stopped others from dreaming up new possibilities for Mac addicts. From the Onion News Network we have the MacBook Wheel, an innovative laptop that does away with the keyboard. "Everything is...

Apple's last Macworld keynote speech turned out to be notable as much for what did not appear as what did. Steve Jobs, the company's chief executive, was the most obvious non-appearance - but also missing were expected appearances of new iMacs, an updated Mac mini and any sign of Snow Leopard, the next update to Apple's Mac OS X operating system. Instead Phil Schiller, Apple's senior vice-president...

An hour about iLife and iWork, 10 Minutes about the 17-inch MBP, and couple of minutes about DRM-free iTunes. Bit weak if you ask me. Apple could have at least tried to show something interesting or exciting given that it was their last ever MacWorld keynote. No Snow Leopard, no Mac Mini, no 30-inch LED [...]

MACWORLD 2009 : Apple’s one last thing was not, unfortunately, the Mac Mini; but it was an update to the 17-inch MacBook Pro, including having the new “unibody” look which the other MacBooks and MacBook Pros had since late 2008. The new revision of the 17-inch will also see a non-removable battery, called the “Maxi [...]

Does this mean Apple figures nobody will have any money to spend on anything? Live from Apple’s last Macworld - Apple 2.0 ... There was no Steve Jobs cameo, no Mac mini, no new iMac, no Snow Leopard ship date, no memory upgrades for iPhone or iPod touch, no new iPod shuffle, no revamped Apple TV or Time Capsule. There was a new unibody 17-inch MacBook Pro with an impressive (if non user-removable)...
