The European Court of Human Rights has found in favour of the two appellants seeking to remove their records from the Police Data base Jacqui Smith is 'disappointed' but will keep the Law in place whilst they consider the judgement, as it is essential to combat crime, you stupid woman, the point is that these two men have never been found guilty of a crime. In the eyes of the Law they are innocent....

Peter Hain stood down to clear his name in January. With today's news that the CPS are not going to bring charges over the donations to his deputy leadership campaign, he now says he has done that. But will Gordon Brown give him a job? Hain was Work and Pensions Secretary. There is no vacancy there. But what about the other job he held, Welsh Secretary?

When I was young and on a visit to the US, I was taken to a rodeo. I watched the cowboys mount angry bulls which were then released together into the arena. A violent dance then began with the bull trying to buck the cowboy from his back and the cowboy holding on for dear life or at least for dear prize money or bravado. If the bull was successful and the cowboy came crashing to the ground, the bull...

Lord Desai came out today and said what we are all probably thinking about unelected PM Gordon Brown. That he is indecisive and weak. However he got the next bit wrong because he claimed that Gordon was put on earth to remind us how good Blair was and this is where I started to get angry. I want to make it perfectly clear from here that I think and have always thought that the whole New Labour exercise...
