As you may or may not know, I'm the PPC for East Lothian, so it's obviously a matter for concern when I read about alcohol fuelled crime in places like Haddington, Tranent, and Prestonpans. The fact of the matter is that booze is a pretty catastrophic substance; it damages your liver, your gut, your throat, your mouth, your aesophagus.
