Peterson referred all questions to Brodsky. In the past, he has maintained that his wife, then 23, left him for someone else. He has also said that he wants to sell his house in Bolingbrook, which draws media and onlookers, and move away to protect his children. I myself would like to see the specs on this rifle that they seized from Drew Peterson. If I had to wager a guess, I'm betting that the State's Attorney says the barrel is shorter than 16 inches without measuring the flash suppressor which is frequently built into AR-15 rifles.
