After the Flyers took advantage of a Doug Janik turnover to create an odd-man rush that resulted in a Mike Knuble goal with 5:08 left in the game, Stars center Brad Richards missed on an opportunity to score into an open net. The Stars then frittered away a chance to score on a 6-on-4 power play in the final minute of the game – not getting a shot to the net.
