The New York Yankees have sold righthander Darrell Rasner to the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles of Japan’s Pacific League for $1 million. Rasner was hit hard in his partial seasons with the Yankees, and didn’t fit into their 2009 plans. Japan should be a good destination for the 27-year-old.
