Public expressions of relief, following the announcement that no children's bodies are buried beneath the Haut de la Garenne home in Jersey, have been notably restrained. In fact you would never think, from the muted response, that, between February, when the discovery of a piece of skull was first announced and last week, it was widely regarded as more or less fact that as many as five or six children...
