SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Brunswick Corp. said late Thursday it will close its boat plant in Cumberland, Md., and transfer production to a plant in Ashland City, Tenn. Brunswick Corp., badly hurt by the ongoing decline in demand for its recreational boats and marine engines, said Wednesday that directors voted to lower the Lake Forest company's annual dividend to 5 cents a share, from 60 cents a year ago.
