Man held in stabbing death of Long Beach cancer patient

Police say Andrew Odom was arrested at a motel in connection with the death of his friend Rita Wiley, who was suffering from throat cancer. Police have arrested a 40-year-old Long Beach man in connection with the stabbing and beating death of a 70-year-old woman who was suffering from throat cancer, authorities said.
