Adrian Boothroyd's departure from Watford came as no shock - they have been struggling since last November - but to see him linked with Charlton is a surprise. Although he tried to introduce some purity into Watford's play this season after their direct tactics came up short last time, it is unlikely Charlton fans would welcome him with open arms, even if their patience is wearing thin...
