By Tyson Rauch The New York Jets go on the road this Sunday to take on the first place New England Patriots (4:15 EST). Bill Belichick was right. He had no timeouts - which was a mistake on his part. He knew Peyton Manning was standing on the opposite sideline - they've faced each other for the equivalent of a full season. He was playing to win, not hoping to win - if he punted, it was a long shot that the defense would stop Manning. Belichick's decision to go for it on fourth-and-2 from his own 28 late in the New England...

At this time last year, Tedy Bruschi was a leader on the Patriots defense. This week, in an indirect way, he may have sped the passing of those duties to linebacker Jerod Mayo, already a captain in his second season.

Why is everyone so upset about the Patriots’ loss Sunday night? They covered the number - lost by a point but were getting 3. That’s a win where I’m coming from, if you picked New England.

New England Patriots lost in the favor of the Indianapolis Colts with a bold decision when there were almost two minutes remaining. Bill Belichick tried a first down that would allow the Patriots to run out the clock, holding on for a 34-28 win. Unfortunately that didn’t happen and Colts won. Who takes the blame?
