I watched the last few inning of game six of the World Series Wednesday night. Neither the New York Yankees nor the Philadelphia Phillies are teams for which I root. The Phillies only got the nod in 1993 out of obligatory patriotism when they played the Toronto Blue Jays. But watching the final moments of the winning game--I figured the Phillies could not make it to a game seven--is a thrill regardless....
