Victorian law catches drinker on mobility scooter

Peter Bright from Norfolk has been convicted of driving his mobility scooter over the drink-drive limit under an historic Victorian law dating back almost 140 years. The disabled 63 year-old was stopped by police on the A140 at Long Stratton, Norfolk, on May 26 after he had been out drinking with friends.
