Top Hollywood actor Matt Damon ( as in the guy from the Bourne Trilogy, but I suspect that most of the girls will know that! ) is to star in a Clint Eastwood directed film in the role of former South African rugby captain François Pienaar. [Matt] Damon will allegedly star as Francois Pienaar, the captain of South Africa's 1995 World Cup-winning rugby team in a film to be directed by Clint Eastwood, about Nelson Mandela, and the effect the sporting win had on the country. Interesting . It would be good if this raises the profile of rugby in the USA and Canada, where the far less interesting sport of soccer has taken root.
