Why I oughta primary you! In Denver we have Q-100 . Bleh! If you live in HD08 there's a primary that could go either way. And HD9 , as well as HD6. By the end (hopefully) of Tuesday, we'll know who will be the next CO-02 Congressperson, whether Doug Bruce will get to continue his ways in the state legislature, and whether Lamborn or someone else will face Hal Bidlack. Oh yeah, there's a CO-06 primary...

We have a number of reasons for the Democratic resurgence here in Colorado. But I think there is one major reason that is never discussed, the large number of great politicos we have. Especially when compared to total embarrassments like Marilyn Musgrave & Doug Bruce. Quality is a very powerful argument in the political contest. Remember those cartoons where there is an incredibly complicate machine...

Man, for someone who hates government and hates society so much, you have to wonder what happened to Doug Bruce as a child: Jane Thomsen and her west-side neighbors are tired of the boarded up, run-down building at 1326 W. Kiowa St. dragging down property values and serving as an occasional shelter to vagrants. "You can't be allowed to have a property like this. It's just not right," Thomsen...

Jeff Peckman has offered up a citizen's initiative to place an ordinance on Denver's November ballot. According to the proposal, the 18-member ET commission would "create a responsible, common-sense strategy for dealing with issues related to the presence of extraterrestrial beings on Earth," among other tasks. This seems as sensible a way to deal with the scourge of Doug Bruce as any. More...

Anti-social is what I'll call it for now: Rep. Douglas Bruce was instructed Wednesday to stay away from a woman working at the state Capitol who lodged a sexual harassment complaint against him. Speaker Andrew Romanoff, D-Denver, handed Bruce a letter on the House floor. Bruce read it, then he and Romanoff briefly met in the speaker's office. Bruce, a Colorado Springs Republican, wouldn't say
