Takuma Sato, former driver of Honda and Super Aguri and currently in the running for a Toro Rosso seat next year, has become father for the second time. His wife gave birth to a baby girl of whom the name is not yet known.

After Red Bull family member, Sebastien Buemi drove for us yesterday, today it was the turn of a more established F1 name to try the cockpit of the STR3, in the shape of Takuma Sato. Sato san, who last raced in F1 in this year's Spanish Grand Prix spent the early part of the session, working on set-up to get a feel for the car, while also completing an aero test which produced positive results.

An SA06 model F1 car from the failed Super Aguri F1 team’s 2006 season has sold at auction for $150,000. The vehicle, which was driven by Takuma Sato, is one of the final assets of the team to be sold by its liquidator. We reckon the buyer, a Japan-based fan of the team, got himself quite a deal. Why? First, he’s bought himself one of the fastest trackday toys in the world for a relatively low price....
