Putting to rest weeks of speculation, auto giant Mercedes has bought a major stake in Brawn GP. The team will now be known as Mercedes Grand Prix and sport the Silver Arrows livery. Otherwise, officials say they won’t be wholesale changes at the team, Ross Brawn will remain at the helm. What that means for the future of Jenson Button with the squad should be determined in the next few days....

Mercedes-Benz motorsport boss Norbert Haug declared that the Mercedes Grand Prix team will soon reveal their 2010 driver line-up. Nico Rosberg, who will leave Williams at the end of 2009, is favourite for one of the race seats and is believed that both German driver Nick Heidfeld and Timo Glock are in the picture as well.
