On the day that could mark the deadline for the BRDC to sign a contract with Bernie Ecclestone, Mark Webber has insisted that Formula One must remain at Silverstone.
As 2009 drew to a close, the championship was still up for grabs with Mark Webber, Sebastian Vettel and Rubens Barrichello all with a chance to over throw Jenson Button’s season-long lead. In the final five races we had more overtaking than your could shake a stick at, as well as a night race and [...]

Okay, since the F1 season has finished I will make a quick review of my impressions of each of the drivers. And this is below: Jenson Button (Brawn-Mercedes) 95 pts: Started like a racehorse ended up like a limping donkey. He did a great job at the first stage of the season which helped him to secure the championship, even one race before the end of the season. The second part of the season was really...
When it comes to summing up the 2009 Formula One season, I believe the subject line covers it well: Formula One 2009: Jenson Button, Brawn GP. Enough said. Barely a year ago, Honda announced that they were to pull out of Formula One with immediate effect, leaving the Brackley-based team somewhere up that creek, almost paddleless. Honda agreed to keep the team running whilst it sought a buyer, but if...
The second half of the season was Button’s iffy period, leaving four different drivers – Mark Webber, Lewis Hamilton, Rubens Barrichello and Kimi Raikkonen to all score victories. We saw Force India have a turn of form, Kimi get a Ferrari in front and Barrichello back on the top step of the podium. It can [...]
According to former F1 driver Ralph Schumacher, the Red Bull Racing squad should have implemented team orders this season, as it could have led to Sebastien Vettel winning the drivers championship. Schumacher believes that Vettel was a stronger driver than teammate Mark Webber, therefore the latter should've supported the young German in his battle for the championship against Jenson Button.
And so it is- the last race of the F1 calendar, has come, and gone. We come to the last moto gp race of the season, and I am hoping for a Casey Stoner win. It has been a tremendous season for Alpinestars and we now have a F1 world championship to add to the trophy cupboard. Who knows what could’ve happened if Casey Stoner hadn’t sat out those 3 races, but hey ho, this is the gruelling world...
ABU DHABI (AP) Red Bull driver Sebastian Vettel won the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on Sunday, and teammate Mark Webber hung on for second to give the team a one-two finish in the final Formula One race of the season. Pole-sitter Lewis Hamilton led up to the first set of pit stops, but retired soon after due to a right rear brake failure on his McLaren.
Red Bull Racing's Mark Webber will be driving a GP3 car later this month, with the mission being to experience the feeder series car and to create publicity for the series. His team, MW Arden, is a collaboration between Webber himself and RBR boss Christian Horner.
A consistent theme of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend was that it was the “first race of 2010.” Mark Webber, we were told — at least those watching the race on American TV — was aiming to show he will have championship form next season. His Red Bull teammate, Sebastian Vettel, also was intent on [...]
