The BMW Sauber F1 Team has opted for continuity and will once again line up with Poland's Robert Kubica (23) and Germany's Nick Heidfeld (31) as its race drivers in the 2009 season. The Austrian Christian Klien (25) will remain the team's test and reserve driver.

Austrian driver Christian Klien, the BMW-Sauber test driver, set today the fastest time in the second day of Formula 1 testing at Jerez de la Frontera in Spain. Sébastien Buemi with Toro Rosso Klien evaluated new car components for the final races of the season. Italian Grand prix winner Sebastian Vettel was behind the wheel of a Red Bull-Renault, and he set the 2nd fastest time of the day.
